POST TRAUMATIC PARKER

A couple months back my son totaled his car. He's ok, nobody hurt. To help me get over the stress and trauma I decided a visit to Dr. Gunbroker was in order. I found this great PH 12 gauge with 30" tubes, nice condition, nice wood and a #1 frame. I sent the forend to Dave Kerr to freshen up the checkering and get some of the oil and grime out of the wood. As a little bonus the previous owner knew quite a bit of the history of this gun as it was in his wife's family for many years. Suddenly I felt much better and life is good again

Good to know your son (and gun) came out of this OK. :rotf:

I'm hoping to never increase my collection under these circumstances again

Mike, we've got to get together at Elk Creek and put that old girl to work. Real nice looking gun.

I love stories with happy endings.
Enjoy the new gun.

I totaled my car about a month ago tomorrow coming home from the gun club. No one seriously injured thank goodness just bruises. My biggest trauma is I liked that car and it was paid for and I now have car payments again. Maybe I need another Parker or at least a Pre 64 M70:rotf:

Cars...metal and plastic and they make them every day.....Parkers craftsmanship of wood and metal....no longer made and they outlast any car:)

Harry, I was just thing about you. Can you shoot this coming Tuesday morning? I want to practice and learn from the master before I go to the Southern :bigbye:
