I’m looking to get some opinions on the value of a Parker GHE and would you keep it the way it is , or have it restored by someone good

I'll let someone else weigh in on value. But as to condition, I would leave it just as it is. Looks like a nice gun.

Why touch it? I'd leave as is. Looks to be in nice condition.

looks like an honest nice shooter- and I doubt you would ever recover the cost of a restoration I agree with the rest of the responses - leave it as is, shoot it and have fun |
What wonderful deep engraving on the side panels! Plus, Special Steel barrels! And all the screws are untouched! Restoration is like surgery--dont cut unless you have to. Things can go wrong in the quench or anywhere else. Just a gentle cleaning and enjoy a fine GH. JMHO

There are plenty of Parkers that would be more desirable with a full restoration your GHE isn't one of those. As is $3500 or restored $3500-$4000;your choice.
