Please Help Me Understand
I’m new to the world of vintage (Parker) guns. Looking at the two guns, below, the price difference is around $400. They appear to be very similar wrt condition and configuration. Given that one is a grade C and the other a grade G, I would have expected a larger price difference. Educate me!

The C grade has been altered in that the engraving and gold inlays on the trigger plate are not original. At least I would say No Way.
The GH is original completely. But the price on that gun is pretty high for what it is, I think. |
I agree with Brian, original condition vs redone and probably enhanced. However, both are very nice looking guns and the heart wants what the heart wants.

Brett, come to the Southern SxS in late April and you will be blown away by the opportunities to buy the right gun for you, quite possibly including these 2. Plus, it’s a blast.

Thanks guys, really helpful as I start to educate myself. Where can I find info on the “Southern”? The heart wants an original Parker.. ;)
