Gloves

These gloves were used as a prop in a recent DGJ article. I would like to have a pair but haven't been able to find anything similar anywhere. I suppose they could be vintage, but they have velcro on them so I doubt they're TOO old. Just wondering if anyone has a source; thanks...

Looks like leather “driving gloves” to me.

Phil I got you covered. I have two pairs, when they were on sale for $25. I am a medium and will sell one for what I paid, unused, or go buy new if you need a different size. They are worth more than what he charges I believe. There's a finger cutout so when you fold the index back your bare finger is used. Supple and nice for the price.

Should be noted they're a dark brown in a folding gift box, that photo is awful.

I've been cutting the trigger finger off of driving and golf gloves for years, but none of them have ever kept my hands or fingers warm. Still looking after all those years.

Best deal I ever found for shooting gloves: Go to your nearest motorcycle / leather head shop dealer and ask for their "summer weight" driving gloves. I found them at a local motorcycle clothing store (no bikes for sale) for $14 a pair. Black perforated fingers and palm, REAL LEATHER, velcro wrist closures. Quite the bargain compared to branded chi-chi types at $22- 50 Pair. Nothing like them for an ice-cold steering wheel setting out for the range on a winter morning or, once there, hefting a CHE 28- ga with a splinter forend.

It’s a thing for me; can’t do black :).

Funny. Same for me Bill. Buy a nice pair of gloves and snip the 👉 off. So far I've managed to do it without my finger in the glove.
