Looking for info 1878 10ga Parker hammer
 

I have pics of numbers & markings on old Parker Brothers Damascus 10 Ga
I would like to get any info on model & such
This is the first time I've used a forum so may need help on that as well

Type in the serial number and someone will tell you about it if its in the book. I don't have that book yet.

You can enter the serial number to see if information exists, you can find information on how to determine grades, see pictures of guns of various grades, read Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ), order a research letter and much more.

Serial # 41027 made in 1884

The "Book" says it is a 10 gauge exposed hammer top lever opening gun with 30" Twist Steel barrels. It is probably a zero (0) grade gun with little embellishment. It should have a pistol grip stock with a hard rubber cap attached with a slotted screw. If it is in absolutely new condition, it would be worth about $4000 to $5000. If it were an abused and rusty gun with missing parts, it may be worth about $50. Post some pictures and we can get a little closer to its real value.
