Request for Parker Pages material
 

Editor in Chief, Austin Hogan, will be taking a well-deserved break from his duties as Editor for a short while and will not be editing the Summer Issue of Parker Pages. I have offered to step in temporarily and assume his duties for this issue. I have spoken with Austin, traded e-mails with him and visited with him last Saturday in order that I may gain enough knowledge of what he does so that I can make a valiant attempt to come close to the product he produces for us all.

To this end I am making a request that anyone who has material that should be included in the Summer Issue please get it to me as soon as you can.

Such things as Parker articles, stories, technical reviews or articles, book reviews, announcements, upcoming events, pictures and short articles of recent events, etc.

Dean, what's your cutoff date?

I would like to have everything here well in advance of the Southern. I hope I will only need to work on photos and someone's article of the Southern and the Challenge immediately after that event. I intend to send the finished product th the publisher within a week, say, May 7 or so.

As well, I just hung up the phone with another Parker collector and both he and I will be submitting small articles for the Parker Pages in hopes of assisting your efforts..
