Not a Fine Double, but a Scarce Autoloader
 

The Remington Model 878 "Automaster" was introduced in the 1959 Remington catalog. For 1959 and 1960 only the plain A Grade was offered. In the 1961 and 62 catalogs, higher grades and SA and SC Skeet Guns were offered.

For 1963 the Model 878 was gone and the Model 1100 was in.

Had one with two barrels - one for skeet and one for ducks. Nice gun

We had an 878 in the shop or sale a year or so ago , well as i can remmember it sold very reasonably .
