The serialization book isn't always correct. I have a gun that was significantly different but I was able to verify the gun as 100% correct. There are some super slueths among our membership that might be able to point you in the right direction. For starters, if you go to the home page you can check to see if the is a Work Order Tag for your gun. I was lucky enough to find one. Otherwise you should just sell it to me...cheap. :rotf::rotf::rotf:Good luck.

Understand, old records and human mistakes.
It is a 20 ga VH and has had barrels cut, just was wondering what they started life as. Basically cyl and light skeet now (.003) at 24 11/16 “. Going to put on pattern plate to see what it showed.

Wonderful little gun with modern drops and good bores and wall thickness.

Thanks.

Maybe something happened to the 28ga barrels and someone put 20ga barrels on the gun. At that serial number it would be a 0 frame gun.

Never know, these seem to be original and are numbered correctly. It is a zero frame.

Both the order book and stock book shows it as a VH, 20ga. with 26" barrels and a CPG. The Serialization Book is wrong.

Thank you sir.

thats a shame, I was waiting for someone to suggest finding the Preverbial lost 28 ga barrels. Cuts barrels really hurt but if it fits and shoots well and the price is right for that, could be a great shooter afterall. Almost fell for an AH 16 years ago with beautiful engraving but later discovered it was a 12 ga, rebarreled. Oops!
