Butt plates VH or GH..??

Why do some GH guns have the spur like the V grades and others are flat with no spur? They are correct Gh stocks as they have the better checkering. Thanks Kenny

As explained in TPS, Parker transitioned to a flat butt plate in the early 1920's as part of a cost saving measure.

TPS provides the answers to almost all Parker questions and is invaluable for the enthusiast.
