2& 3/4” low pressure 20 ga. shells

I have a VH double Parker 20 ga. Shotgun. It has fluid steel barrels. How can I tell what chamber length I have.

Can’t find 2 & 1/2” shells only the 2& 3/4” low pressure shells.

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you, Byron

Many ways have been used on this forum. My way is to take barrels off and using a machinists rule insert till it comes to the forcing cone and mark with your thumb and there you have it. You are looking down the barrels watching it come to the forcing cone.

Speaking for myself, I shoot standard 7/8 oz game loads around 1200 fps thru my 3 fluid steel Parker 20s. I don't like to shoot 1 oz loads . I love my 3/4 oz loads using 20/28 powder, they are around 7800 psi.

I've been shooting Nobel Sports (NSI)20ga Low Recoil out of my 20g Parker Trojan. 3/4 oz load at 1200 fps. These seem to do very well in the gun.

Federal game loads 2 3/4 inch will work just fine . also lower pressure than Winchester and Rem.
