Earliest or Latest

if i remember right...there was a listing of certain serial numbers of first gun with whatever & the latest gun with whatever in the Parker Pages a while back. Does anyone remember what issue they were in ?
i noticed in the Parker Story in the grade section, they listed earliest PH with
Parker steel barrels was # 192515...wondering if any more were found ?

Dwight I believe you are referring to "Parkers Found" which appeared in the Spring 2022 edition of Parker Pages. As a member you now have access to the Parker Pages archives which are searchable.

Thanks for the info Randy...that was it.

Our good friend Josh Loewensteiner is the caretaker of that file and is always happy to welcome new entries.

The Parkers Found would make a nice addition to the members only portion of the forum as a standing list/page. Updates and additions could be noted by a different font or color.

In my humble opinion it would be much better if it was open to the general public on our forum.

I could see it there also. I was just following the thought that it is in “The Pages” and to access them (digital or print) you need to be a member.

I have a latest and earliest in the list that concern the dolls head extension. The latest is 4 S/N's before the adoption of the doll's head as reported in TPS. Though this is technically true it is not accurate as a gun could be special ordered without a dolls head after the transition point.

As an aside both guns resided in my gun safe for a decade before a chance reading in TPS had me digging through the collection.

Yes, I see your point and I agree.
