What's the Little Screw For?

You'll notice a small screw by the hinge pin on this gun.
It's on both sides of the receiver. Can anyone tell my why it's there? Or what it's for?

That's what I was thinking also Dave.
After market ejectors, but wasn't sure.
Thanks

The screws are part of an after market ejector system. I have seen this on four other Parkers and one of them had the ejectors removed leaving only the screws as a tell tale sign of the modification.

I agree. I've seen three of these non-factory ejector modifications. Not pretty IMHO.

Dave, I suspect you are asking the question because you saw the gun for sale and not because you own it. The gun is that little 20ga VH with the full treatment on it including helicopter winged quail or whatever they are. This gun has been around for a while with no takers and must have cost the owner a lot of money in extra work and engraving.

Yes Bruce, it's on Gunbroker.
I'm not interested in the gun, just wondered about the screws.
