Stock books did not have a number marked on them. These stock book numbers are assigned according to the serial number ranges contained in each book.
The stock books end in January of 1936 with the last serial number recorded of 238934. After this date, Remington used IBM cards.

Most information on your Parker is contained in the order books, 1919 and earlier. Stock book information only tells you what you already know if the gun is in your hand. Use the Home Page to find if there is information on your gun. If your gun is pre 1919 and the Home Page says there is information on your gun, a missing stock book in your serial number range would usually mean that the order book is available for your gun. Order the letter.

My latest Parker would have been from Book #80. So, does anyone know what happened to these books? Just curious....

Many of them are listed by Remington as "discarded" but "to where?" is the big question.
