Euro Superposed

https://i.imgur.com/WE5kgIW.png https://i.imgur.com/vAinvZ1.jpg Pros - As New, unmolested, RKLT, 30", solid rib, no ports, 7lb 4 oz, slim fore end, understated A-1 engraving, perfect fit. Cons - Patterns like a rifle. Full(.038) / IMod(.026) https://i.imgur.com/WOKFeAe.jpg At Skeet distances (22 yards) I shot and circled the Full pattern and shot the IMod directly over the Full. AA 1 1/8 9 shot. I managed to hit a 23 and a 21 on a windy SoCal day. Centered breaks were absolutely pulverized. The visual was worth the misses. |
As high as it shoots, looks more like a trap gun than skeet.

Bob, I thought this was a for sale ad. I had the check about written, waiting for the amount.

That is one sweet gun. Does seem to print like a trap gun and what a pattern....

It sure would look good next to my boxed A-1 20 gauge. The A-1 Supers make the American version of the Grade 1 look like a mistake.

S-8, is that 1968? My A-1 20 was made in 1953.

A friend has a Euro-sourced D3 which appears to be substantially lighter than US market guns. Barrels are light. Thin walled which would not accept choke tubes. Wonderful gun.
