Bunch of Parkers

Just happened to look at Jaquas online listing. I used to travel to Findlay for work and have bought a lot of guns from them.Their primary interest was high end trap guns. Generally a huge inventory. I was surprised to see they had 31 Parkers listed, some pretty nice and/or interesting. They have always maintained a stock of nice doubles, but it seems they are slowly increasing their number.

One gun I found interesting was a gun that was returned to the factory and converted to 28 gauge. It was factory lettered to that effect.

Just thought I would mention this in case anyone wants to take a look.

Looks like they took in a collection from an estate but they have had that 28ga PH for quite a while.

Over the years just about every interesting Parker ever made has passed through Jaques, including, as I recall, every A1 Special that was made. I get a headache every time I stop in: so many fine guns to look at and handle.

Their website doesn't show anything unless I'm not looking correctly?

Did you happen to see the DHE 20ga. skeet ?(Item # 208367) The gun looks good in the pictures but something has to be wrong with a $5995.00 price.

Use the drop down and search for Parker Bros.

This Parker is not original and probably has had the barrels bobbed. The stock and forend are not original, nor are the case colors.

Is "bobbed" a gentlemanly way of saying cut?

Right, but I have no proof of that. Typically when a noted seller describes a gun as "Skeet and Skeet" we can usually surmise that this is how it came to be so-choked.

Yep, went here, hit the drop down for Parker Bros and begin search, nothing comes up at all. If I hit American Doubles a Fox and Remington come up.

Unless it's stamped Skeet/Skeet.
