Great picture for Parker of the month.

David Hamming 02-08-2011 08:41 PM

I can do that. How or where do I enter it?

Dean Romig 02-08-2011 09:16 PM

Nice picture. I did the same to a friend who was working when a six point buck stood up ten yards in front of me and as I was sending the picture his daddy, a monster ten point stood up right next to him.

Dean when deer hunting the first rule is have your gun ready then the camera:rotf: Think how your buddy would have felt IF you sent him a picture of you next to the big 10 pointer?

Dean Romig 02-09-2011 09:05 PM

I didn't have but a camera and a shovel that day Rich. I was in the cutover 200 yds from my back door looking for white birch saplings to transplant to my lawn.

It was only about 150 yards from several of the houses on my road.

Here's one that tore apart a young Red Pine about 70 yards from my kitchen window.

B & C Gross 186 2/8"
Main beams 30" and 30 1/8"
Left side G-2 is 13" long

Dean that was a buck worthy of the taxidermist if there ever was one.
