Engraver recommendations
Morning all,
I need to have some snap caps and gun accessories engraved with maker names. Nothing fancy. Who would you all recommend? Thanks |
Noelle Feucht in Connecticut also engraves all kinds of things such as you want done.

Geoffrey Gournet does fine work at a fair price.

It depends on how you want things to look.
I will mention that Turnbull's House engraver (Tom McCartle - spelling?) is awesome at hand engraving lettering and making NOT look hand engraved. They call him Tommy the Typewriter for a reason! I have used him many times for recutting marks that were original done with roll dies. |
If they are snap caps and accessories, there are local shops that do a lot of this type of work. I have recently had a couple of Class 3 items engraved by a local shop that does general engraving and advertises to do firearms work. The work is done with an automated engraver. The builder, location and serial number are required and they charge $60, which is really inexpensive per letter. You might just check the local ads and internet listings.

Thanks all. I wanted some turn screws, oil cans, and caps lettered. Noelle F. Is in CT, not far from LI.
