Here is the forend detail and some receiver detail.

The ejectors in your forearm are cocked, so that is not the problem with the installation of the forearm. Are you completely compressing the pin on the front of the receiver when you attempt to install the forearm?

The pin was stuck in place but moved freely after spraying with breakfree and seemed to be compressed all the way although I have almost no experience with Parkers. The wide end of the forend seemed to fit flush with the front of the receiver but the Lever on the forend would not close. P.S. How would I know if the ejectors were cocked by looking at the forend? Thanks for your help. -Mark

With the forearm in place and the forend lever not in the closed position, hit the forearm behind the lever with the palm of your hand and the lever should snap into place.
