Our 1st Hunt with the new toy
1 Attachment(s)
The newest Parker addition finally made its way back to NH in over a year from being at the smiths. I had been looking for a DHE small bore for a couple years and finally found one that fit my liking. Its a 26", 16GA, 0 frame weighing in at 6lbs, 4 oz. It had been used as it should since it was born in 1917, never altered and needed some sprucing up. I was happy it made it home and we gave a test drive in a small local cover not far from home. Bella, my GSP and I found our limit of Woodcock quickly with her quality work and my quality shooting ( 3 for 3) made for a great day in the uplands. Hopefully we will be testing it out on some grouse in the near future?

1917 is a great engraving year in my opinion. Curious what those unaltered chokes are on that beauty.
Bella looks to be a well behaved girl. How old is she (if she will allow you to tell us:)) |
Morning Garry,
I just measured .655 and .644 on the digital. Bella said it was fine. She is 8.5. A well seasoned pro. Chaos next year in the woods with a pup coming. Z |
