16 GA Butts
1 Attachment(s)
I brought 2 Parker 16 GA guns with me for doves in Texas. Never compared them before today. Both guns have almost identical stock common dimensions and weight. Just look at the contrasting butt length. What do we make of this?

Bob, I notice the difference in stock dimensions on two 20 gauge guns I own. They were not the thicker comb guns either, just different sizes. Mine were a few years apart, but still pretty close in year of manufacture. What year of manufacture were your guns? Just curious.

We make happy of it Uncle Bob because you don’t keep any also ran versions. You don’t mention frame sizes or grade. I am sort of surprised there isn’t a certain Fox gun there that you shoot well. Or is there?

What are the frame sizes ? Interested mind wants to know.... Oh yea, how was the dove shoot ?

Both 1 Frame.

The dogs head buttplate pictures is the number 2 sized plate. This would normally be used exclusively on 2 frame guns. This would be the first example of one being on a 1 frame gun that I have seen.
IF it is original…. It could be a stock from another gun put onto that one. |
I'll pull the trigger guard and check the number when I get home.
