Old Parker
1 Attachment(s)
Friend came across this old Parker Serial number 8380. Looks to be one of the early hamerless. Not in good shape, but it is all there. Can any of you help me identify what the writing on the side signifies or tell me why it is there. Best i can tell it says King JC110 but my friend thinks it says King J Cato. I have attached a picture and appreciate any help.

I can not tell you what I am looking at in the picture.
I do not recognize anything to indicate this is a Parker Brothers shotgun from Meridian, Connecticut. Your search for knowledge goes on from here. Good luck. |
Can you post more pics, barrels included?

Not a Parker Bros.

That photo is not of a Parker Brothers shotgun.

The gun is a Hopkins & Allen from right near the end of their existence.
Attachment 99041 I have recorded such guns "trade branded" KING NITRO -- Attachment 99042 and in a 1913 E.K. Tryon catalog they offered them "trade branded" PALMETTO ARMS CO. |
