I'd call that a jump shooters honey hole.

That is one of my favorite jump shooting ditches. They trapped out the beavers last winter, so no beaver dam this year.

The greenery looks pretty fruitful to.

I can see several meals out of that bunch :whistle:

How's the dove patch looking?

I gave up on the dove patch several years ago. It keep drowning out.
I have been dove hunting over a neighbors cut seed corn fields.

You couldn't get mallards to light in a ditch that size down here if you had it lined with shelled corn.
