A big old Quality GH war horse showed up on GI today with a bit nicer treatment on the triggerplate.

Yes, more elaborate than what is normally found. Exceptional figure in the butt-stock too. It is a heavy war horse at almost 9 pounds. It's actually a 1889 production, the lister say's 1899. I like it, but I like all of them.

I realize the seller had some errors in his listing. It should be an antique and not C & R. My own 1889 vintage Grade 2 12-gauge on a 2 frame weighed a fraction of an ounce over nine pounds before Craig Libhart restocked it.

I looked at that GH long and hard but I already have four 32” 12’s and the drop is a bit much to over come .

Looks like someone took a graver to cover up a long scratch, not to even side to side
