forend interchangable

Are forends interchangable, "0" to "1" frame. Thanks

Quite often they will work fine but a No 1 Forend might be wider. I have a 1 1 /2 frame Parker that works fine with a 2 frame extractor forend, it is noticeable, a little bit wider.
