There are many factors that affect value. We would need a lot more information about the gun, and pictures. Description should include the gauge, barrel length, frame size, length of pull, drop at comb and heel, bore condition, and detailed description of condition of all metal and wood surfaces and preferably good pictures of all these things. With the information you gave in this question the value could be between $500 and $5000, but more likely on the lower end.
The less information that you provide, the less accurate an appraisal will be.

Nobody here can begin to speculate on the value of the gun without at least very good photos to evaluate general condition. And even then there is a lot that cannot be known.
It comes down to you and your desire to own said gun and what is it worth to you.

Or, do some research online from other sale sites to see what other guns are selling for and asking.

Honestly I would recommend paying the $40 for the PGCA membership. There are alot of good people here to buy from and that $40 will probably end up saving you thousands.
