What is this called?
1 Attachment(s)
Years ago I was given my first Parker along with a cleaning rod and cleaning implements. One implement used to clean the bore I have never seen before or since. It is a spring loaded "pad" with a fine brass screen over the pad that scrubs & polishes the bore. I have one in 12ga and one in 16ga.
Does anyone know what these were called and/or who made them? |
That is the 'Tomlinson Patented Gun Cleaner'. I have two of them in their original boxes. One is made by B.G.I. and the other is from Union Hardware.

Thanks. I googled that and found more about them and in fact learned that you can still buy them. But $$$$$$
