Stock adjustment hammer gun
In a previous post i was looking for info on a hammer gun I have. I received my research letter and it was sold to Folsom which was nice .
I brought the hammer gun down to a gunsmith and he thought it would be fine to shoot. The problem I now have is the drop at the comb and heel of the stock is very low. I noticed in some of the hunting photo’s that some of you guys have a sleeve on the stock and wanted to know if that may help me to get a better fitting gun. Please give me any feed back and reference of a manufacturer for a sleeve that you have had experience with. Bob |

I have had several on different guns
and I know a few others that use them on my Clabrough 10 http://parkerguns.org/forums/picture...pictureid=6900 |
I recommend this one from The Leatherman. ACCU-RISER AMBIDEXTRIOUS COMB RAISER CR-6000
Reason being that it's very slim on the side where your fact contacts the stock which makes eye alignment very easy on the top of the comb. Most others push your face and eye away from the comb because they are too bulky. It uses double sided tape to keep it on. I've never had a problem with it coming off with the tape but you can also secure it with velcro, there are slits at the bottom for the velcor. |
Thanks guys!

He's usually at the Southern and Hausmanns or you can order from his website.

I have ordered one.

Beretta also sells a comb riser that is unobtrusive.
