What gun oil is everyone using?
What brand of gun oil/nitro solvent is everyone using?
I have heard that Young's 303 is one of the best, but I don't see it offered in the US? |
I use Rig on articulating surfaces and wear points.
I use Ballistol on everything else. . |
3 in One on wear areas and ballistol on everything else including items other than firearms.

Generally I wipe things down lightly with Clenzoil. For moving parts a tiny drop of any gun oil or a thin film of Lubriplate on larger moving surfaces (if George Digweed uses it it's good enough for me...) I don't get the "oil/solvent/cleaner" all in one thing. I know folks use Breakfree or Clenzoil as a bore cleaner and lubricant all in one but always believe separate products do a better job. I use Shooters Choice bore solvent followed by Shooters Choice Shotgun and Choke Tube Cleaner (to me nothing melts plastic wad material like this) if it's bad in there. For the bore a film of CLP. There are a lot of these things out there and to me always not much difference in products but then again I don't live near salt water or corrosive environments

FYI, the broader topic of cleaning and care is dealt with on the FAQ page off the main web page, in FAQ #9; #10; #20 under the Parker Maintenance and Repair section. (thanks to Bindlestiff for this reference.)
