I am falling in love with that thing do you know anything about it ? When you say Full of surprises and lessons to be learned. Help me out here Richard !!!!

Looks to be a nice Parker Hammer gun to me.

Well its got a bid now :cuss::banghead:

With that much 'gum' on the outside I can only imagine what it looks like on the inside. Looks like a decent gun to me also and will probably clean up just fine.... it will just take a lotta elbow grease... Hammer guns are far easier to clean up than hammerless though.

is there anything about this image to suggest honing?

I hope that 6 or more PGCA members don't have a bidding war over this one.
I consented not to bid because a fellow PGCA member is going to try to buy this one. It will be hard not to bid because this would be a good addition to my colletion of 10 bores! I will however just watch to help a fellow Parker guy. |

All is fair in war and gun auctions. If you want the gun, bid on it. I think it will clean up real nice. |
Dave,
Thanks! I know we all compete for these fine old guns. If you wanted the gun I would not bid against you. If we both really wanted it I'd offer to flip a coin for bidding rights. I can always buy a gun. Trustworthy friends are much, much harder to find. Respectfully, Mark |
