win one ounce 28 ga loads in my repo

Would you shoot these hi power loads in 28 ga reproduction? Thanks Bobby

I would not. But that is just me

20 years ago I sold a 28ga repro to a friend, I had shot it with no problem using 3/4 oz loads he went pheasant hunting with Win 1 oz loads and the gun doubled first time he fired it . It had a single trigger.

My repro 28 ST doubled too on heavier loads but Dan May at Miller Single Trigger fixed it. Not the first he's seen.

I think the Repros are completely capable of digesting most any off-the-shelf ammo as long as they are within SAAMI specs.

1-oz 28 ga loads? Why? There is just no need for that much of a payload in a 28 and the pattern is going to look like crap.

My reaction exactly.

Right - that's a 16 gauge load... or a light 12.
