Lightening cuts and Parkers Found?

Just wondering, for Parkers Found, what is the earliest serial number we can find on a gun with lightening cut in the watertable? It's got to be somewhere prior to the 40k serial range, I would guess.

I have one in the 15k range.

Robin- Holy Smokes! I think we have that one listed, but we should also add it as the earliest with Lightening cuts and see what else surfaces? 1556x, right?

Lightening Cuts

Check with Jim K; I think his early 20 may have milled grooves in both water table and fore end iron; my similar 17448 does.

Best, Austin

My 20ga lifter gun is Serial Number 10165 and it does have lightening slots milled into the water table but not in the fore end iron.

The cut is on the underside of the fore end iron, covered by the splinter

Number 13011 is a 16ga Lifter with the lightening cuts in the watertable. I'm not takeing the forend iron off to look there:nono:
