16 ga. chambers ??

Hello,
Just purchased another gun, this time a 1905 ..16 ga. in excellent, original condition.Seller states is is for 2.5" shells. My question is ,Does this mean the 2 &5/8th.actual length? I have a case of B&P shells,#7 that are marked 2& 5/8th.that I plan on shooting.
Thanks,
Bill Faulk

Bill, If your new parker has unaltered chambers they would be 2 9/16" The shells you have would be fine. What is the advertises PSI of the B&P?

PSI is 7,000...Bill

Bill, Sounds like you are good to go. Check the barrel wall thickness.
