Kenny: Checkering has definitely been recut. Both barrels and stock appear to have been refinished as well. Stock is short at 13 inches. Other than that it is a nice looking shooter. The 30 inch barrels are a plus, as is the reciever condition. I think it is still overpriced by about a third, but that's just me. The weight would indicate a 1 frame. An 0 frame might bring more. Thanks for bringing it up. I don't look at the Gun Library much anymore.

2999.00 does not get a hole lot of small gauge parker these days, 13" lenth of pull is O.K. for a gun with rear position SST, overall not a bad gun in that price range. Cabela's changed their formate...I do not like it now. I still look from time to time, they get some nice guns in and a good deal some times. I missed a Fox AE 16 not long ago, gun was in need of re-stocking but metal was nice with good barrels. It was listed as a sterlingworth and priced way low...it was sold to the guy ahead of me..)-: ......Im in need of a Parker repro 12ga with PG-(14 1/4) pull, DT-and 28" tubes or a set. So I check all the sights regularly looking for the right gun. I hope this mental illness for parkers subsides soon!!!.....still would like to perchase a farm in southern ohio or maybe Tennesee. Note....I did not say I wanted to buy the farm!, just want to own one..........(-: thanks all SXS ohio....
