Interesting Clothing Label....
1 Attachment(s)
A friend just picked up a sweater with this label but I can't find anything about the guy who's the manufacturer. Maybe I'm reading the name wrong?
|
Example on eBay last month.
I see a red one on eBay.
That seller wrote out the manufacturer’s name just the way I see it on the label. https://www.ebay.com/itm/264281793532 https://thevintagetraveler.wordpress...-octonek-1946/ Now I want one. |
Are you referring to Octonek?
https://books.google.com/books?id=s2...RA24-PP107&lpg or Frank Troeh? https://www.traphof.org/inductees/de...67-troeh-frank http://pic20.picturetrail.com:80/VOL.../414165698.jpg Troeh's Sporting Goods was a major dealer in Eugene |
Frank was who I meant, I was spelling the name wrong. Thanks!

Troeh used a Smith at the 1920 Olympics but did most of his singles work with a Winchester Model 12

Troeh was a big name in shooting clothing and trapshooting. I think Larson might be a name in trapshooting also.

The Troeh family may have had several stores
