Took my 1889 parker 12 gauge DH duck hunting
9 Attachment(s)
My brother in law has a duck lease about an hour away from where I live. Having always wanted to go duck hunting I was thrilled when he extended the invitation to go. I had one box of 12 ga bismuth 4 shot RSTs so I left the 10ga barrels at home. His lease is on a quick little body of water called Lake Bailey. As this was my 1st time duck hunting the adrenaline was up and I only got one ring neck to his 5. It was a lot of pass shooting but it was ton of fun. If I hadn't tried to aim in my excitement I would have acquitted myself far better. Anyway I had a blast and bonus I got to eat a Herd Burger for an early lunch on the way home.

No idea why the last 2 pics are upside down. I edited them and rotated them.

Bill, it looks like you had a memorable day. I appreciate getting to "go along" with you on your hunt. Thanks for posting!

Thanks for sharing your hunt!!

What's a herd burger? Looks like a heart attack on a bun. (I'd like two, please)

Here's one that might be that old. Still looks like it did the first time I saw it. Seats about 10 people and has a great burger. Read the reviews. |
