Got a new to me Circa 1914 PH 10 gauge on a 3 frame with 32” barrels . This thing “seems” to be stocked very nicely (ie more modern dimensions). And no I’ve not measured the drop etc yet !

I have a 12g VH from that same era with a very high comb. Very shootable gun there.

Nice find, saw an almost identical gun yesterday but so worn you could hardly see any checkering and the lever just flopped back and forth, no spring, but the asking price was $2500. Wanted something nice for the wife for Christmas but it was a little outside the budget.

Shot it yesterday one load of 0 buck each barrel !

This gun has an issue I need to address right away . After firing it won’t open without wiggling the rear trigger a bit . Both after actual firing or dry firing . Might have my gunsmith buddy look inside tommorrow or Tuesday .

Gummed up my guess ?

Turns out my left barrel issue is in the trigger guard . It has am almost imperceptible dent for lack of a better term and wasn’t allowing the trigger to totally reset . I decided against trying to bend it back and just left the trigger guard one turn shy of being all the way in problem solved .

That was lucky. Most issues aren’t so easily resolved.
