What on earth would you use a 10 gauge with cylinder barrels for?
I own one 10 gauge parker(actually its a 10/12 but regardless) that I have been known to use on Duck and even occassionally on Dove.
However, I have recently encountered a gun that is cylinder and cylinder in both barrels. Barrels have definitely been cut but they have been refinished well and overall the gun is in good condition and the price reflects the cut barrels. I like the look of the gun and the heft and balance of the gun isn't noticeably off.....I just don't know what in God's name I would use it to shoot?? |

Skeet , dove , quail , buckshot , possibly slugs and last but not least AIR :rotf: I have a 28” EH that left the factory cylinder and very very light modified and letters as such . I have an Grade 1 top lever with 26” factory original barrels that are pretty much the same . Picture below is of my EH 28” after slaying that doe with my home concocted 0000 buckshot at about 22-23 yards .

Guarding the stagecoach comes to mind. Actually, you probably would be surprised how well it would still reach out there

I have a CH 2 frame with original set 10 ga 26” and 12ga 30”. The 10’s are factory cyl and cyl. It makes a fine moderate range pheasant gun with 1 1/4 oz 5 shot. Shot cups keep the shot together.

Turkey, you don't have to carry it all day.
