Help Identify my 16 GA Trojan
4 Attachment(s)
Here are some Pics displaying numbers & letters, looking for their meaning!
JG surrounded with a circle, #3 with 5 above it, HT with A below it, & the letters OV. |
"OV" is the mark identifying the Trojan.... but we don't know what OV is an abbreviation of.
3 with the superscript 5 is for 3 lbs., 5 oz. which is the weight of the barrels before striking. You can look up what the HT over A means by goint into the SEARCH function at the top of the page. JG in the oval is the stamp of a Parker Brothers employee or independent contractor. . |

Thank You Dean! I too believe its an "Outstanding Value."

James Geary was barrel assembly foreman. My experience with JG marked barrels has been that they are very well soldered, and rarely have leaky ribs.

Thank You Breck I appreciate the info!
