Parker vh 20 gauge
Hi I’m a new member to these forums I have just acquired a Parker vh 20 gauge that was taken apart and fired now I can’t figure out how to recock it any help. Thanks
|
The act of opening it fully will recock it. If it doesn't cock by opening it fully, a part or parts are missing in the cocking mechanism.

So it being snapped while apart has nothing to do with it
|
If you cocked the gun when you opened it originally that part must be OK. Put the barrels back on the gun with for-end and then open and close it to re-cock.

This is a Parker, not an L.C. Smith!!

Yes Parker vh 20 gauge

Also odd there are no gauge or choke markings on the barrels

Normal for Parkers before Remington take over.
