Being owned by a dog provides some of life’s most bittersweet moments. Fortunately, the bitterness of loss lies between the sweetness of life and the memories. I’m very sorry for your loss.

So sorry to hear. My two Vizslas, Hobbs and Raider are just now turning 9, and I am already dreading parting with them.

Like most of us here, we have all gone through this way too many times. The only salve I know for it is a puppy!
