Remington repair codes
1 Attachment(s)
Can anyone tell me if these are a Remington repair code. From a 20 gauge DH with cut barrels.
|
You can find decode of this on the main parkerguns.org page .... see link on left for repair codes.
It decodes as: Repair code ctt3 indicates your Parker was manufactured on April 1948 |
I believe Robin meant "repaired" April 1948
It could have been an alteration, adjustment or refinish etc. |
Right, the 3 indicates a repair or service.

Gun was made in the teens so repair seems correct. Thank you Robin for your assistance. I used this data link a few years ago but forgot.
Gun is a 20 gauge DH which originally had 32” barrels and no safety. Not my gun. It belongs to a friend. What a crying shame it now sits at 28” barrels but a very nice job on the shortening. No choke. |
Also 3” chambers and factory Beavertail forend.
|
"factory Beavertail forend" = CTT3 = April 1948
|
It looks like another repair code is beside the rear lug. I can make out J 3.
|
Good find Chuck. I had not noticed. I will check the next time I see my friend.
