Just curious

Just curious, who presently owns the rights to the Parker Brothers name and manufacture?

The CSMC website says Parker shotgun manufactured for Remington.

Does that mean you could special order a Parker to be built by CSMC?

Remington owns the name and rights. They have allowed camc to make the new Parkers for them.

I took a quick look on the website and I'm not 100% that they're still offering them, but... they were selling 28ga. AAHEs for around $50k. As far as I know that was the only offering.

Remington owns the name ‘Parker’ not Parker Brothers. The Charles Parker Company would not sell the name ‘Parker Brothers’ to them but did sell the Parker Gun Works, aka ‘Parker’. This is why Remington Arms didn’t engrave Parker Bros. On any Parkers they manufactured after existing stock ran out.

Manufacturing a gun with the name Parker Brothers (or Bros.) might be overstepping their trademark authority. JMHO

They only offered the 28g AAHE.
They are still available to be purchased. The last I knew, there was about a dozen built and only half of those were actually sold.

One of the guys at CSMC a few years ago told me that there was discussion of offering a lower grade, but I am sure it was nothing more than just discussions.

Their Fox guns are a good example, if a few different grades were offered, More people would be looking to buy them.

I wonder if this all falls apart now that they filed bankruptcy and its now in court directed ownership by creditors? Or, have they come out from bankruptcy? I know they changed their name to "Remington Outdoor Co".
