16 gauge

What frame sizes did Parker make in 16 gauge ? The 2 frame 12 gauge Parker's I have shot seemed to fit and feel best for me . Thanks for the help

The reason I'm slightly confused is because on the info page it shows they made a 1 1\2 and a 3 frame 16 ga, but skipped the 2 frame.

As with anything Parker, never say never. I’ve seen 16 gauges from the 0 through 3 frame guns and one could order them as a special order 0, 1, 1/2, 2, and 3 if so desired but as a regular item, 0&1 frames were the norm.

0 and 1 were the most numerous.

As others said. 0 and 1 are most common. 1-1/2 frame 16g guns exist as “heavy 16s”. I would speculate that any larger frame size than that would be in a multi barrel/gauge set type of scenario.

Lee, you may want to consider a 1 frame 12. Handle like a stout 16 and may be better suited for you. Stay with what you like... although 2 frame 12's are your calling:)

I believe at some time in the past, someone posted that they had a 3 frame but I don't remember who or when. Based on that physical gun account, the 3 frame was put in the table.

My #3 frame 16 was ordered, not as a multi barrel set, but as a 28" dedicated 9 pound 16. It is a pleasure to shoot, has relatively open chokes, VH grade. It remains original, worn shiny in the Wisconsin grouse woods apparently.

I am not a fan of light guns but a 9 pound grouse gun? I'd have to hire a porter.

I have a 16 on a 1 1/2 frame that I like a lot.
