The Lefever F grade was the ticket today. Took a beautiful brown phase male ruff flushing from the grape thicket on our property. Our habitat work is paying off!!

I have an early F grade 16 gauge project that I hope to bring back one of these days. It would make a great upland gun.

Nice Mike. Great fan on that bird! Is this the Lefever you used to shoot "lights out" at the RGS Thunder Ridge event last year? 96 ex 100 as I recall. Or was that an E Grade at TR? I’m confused; you keep finding good Lefevers and I'm not remembering which is which. :cool:

The TR shoot was the E grade. This Lefever is the F I picked up in a multiple gun deal back in August. The other gun is the Nichols & Lefever thumb pusher 10g hammer gun. That'll be ready to use come late winter. :)
