Teach Me
I am going to be at the Vintagers/ Annual Meeting at Hopkins Game Farm in a couple weeks. I am in search of someone to teach me how to use a Bore Master. I have had this thing for a couple years and it just sits on the shelf. I even left it with my really smart, good friend (who shall remain anonymous) for a few months in hopes he could figure it out. He didn’t. So, if you are the Bore Master, I am your willing Bore student. If, you teach me I will buy you a drink at the banquet.

I'll have with me a number of bore measuring devices Mike. One of them will be the BoreMaster. I'd be happy to lead you in the right direction with it's use.

Mike, here's a primer on setting the gage properly in anticipation of your visit with Mr. Corona.

I am guessing there are others who would be interested in this shared knowledge on bore measurement, myself included. Certainly worth the price of a libation!
|
I'll bring along my Stan Baker set. It measures everything except 10ga.
|
What is a boremaster? I hope it isn't what you pictured measuring engine block bores. My cell phone # is 301-503-5456 and I will be there Friday, and hopefully Saturday if I don't get bored or broke. I will share my knowledge as well as my bore gauges and wall thickness gauges.
|
Maybe Bill's right. Is the "bore master" a bore gage or is it a caliper with deep jaws?
|
Both...
It measures both the bore's ID as well as wall thickness for six inches on either end of the barrel. . |
I think this is what Mike wants to learn how to use.
