Barrel markings!

Sorry to bring this topic up again, but I can't seem to find any info. I know OV is Trojan, JG for Jim Geary, I'm lost on the K next to the frame size, the V between the lugs and the little squiggly lines? Any guesses or ideas?

The "little squiggly lines" is referenced in The Parker Story but it may be one of several whose meaning is not understood. It is usually found on later Parkers - what is the year of manufacture of your Trojan?

King's stamp is generally found on the forward area of the barrel flats.

1913 was the year it was made. So the V and the K are one of those unknowns. Thanks guys, I really do appreciate the help!

Right Rick, they are most likely the marks of workers or inspectors.

Walter King took over the position of gunworks superintendent from his father Charles A King in 1910 so he was no longer a barrel maker at that point. Walter King’s Stamp is most often seen on the forward area of the left barrel flat as W.K. or WK in a circle or oval. The often seen Kf may also have been one of his marks.

Thanks Dean! I've had Trojans before, I find it interesting the amount of letters stamped that are not the usual. The mystery continues!!
