Rib remarking
 

Can anyone put the squigglies back on the rib of a VH Parker and remark it? The gun I have listed on GB is such a nice gun, but has a very pitted rib. What about finding a trashed out VH and changing the rib? Can anyone handle that? Thanks much, Jerry

Years ago a buddy of mine had a guy weld up some pitting on a rib and then had an engraver redo the matting on a GH. Looked like new.Trick is to fine a welder that understands the problems involved. The micro welder they use on injection molds would certainly work.
