"W.K." initials on barrel flats
I recall reading perhaps that one of Charles Parker's key artisans or gunmakers had the initials W.K., and this was stamped on the barrel flats and water table. I am away from my Parker library as I am out of town. Can someone inform me on this?

The initials are those of Walter King, son of Chas. King. Walter took over c. 1910.

Took over the position of 'gun works superintendent' which his father had held since coming to Parker Bros. from Smith & Wesson.
