Chamber length

Any factory 3" Parker's out there?

Dean Romig 04-21-2018 10:06 PM

Yes, there are and they are mostly by special order. We usually see them as actually 2 7/8" chambers cut for 3" shells.

Sub-gauge too?
Would this special feature show up on a factory letter?
Thanks.

Dean Romig 04-21-2018 10:21 PM

A good number of 20 gauge Parkers were ordered for 3" shells and the factory records confirm it.

As a side note, I’ve seen two Remington made 12ga guns marked for 3”, but haven’t yet seen a 20ga Remington made Parker so marked.
