Thursday at Drakes Landing
 

Quite a few of us will be shooting on Thursday at Drakes Landing. Dan has offered to do a Brisket lunch for us but would like a general head count. His Brisket is wonderful by the way:). So if you would like to come and shoot and stay for lunch please let me know ASAP.

The lunch has been excellent in the past but am I reading correctly that it's now gratis? For a few years the lunch was $20. and one year several fellas who were there just visiting the venue (probably because they saw postings here) seemed to skip out after lunch without paying. Nice. Cost of their brisket & fixins was probably covered by the $20. charge to those who shot and went afterwards to the clubhouse to pay their tab.

Frank and an FYI to everyone else the lunch is not free.:nono: I really don't know what Dan will charge for it but it's a fine meal.

I will see all of you there Thursday morning bright and early. If I remember correctly a donation was asked for the lunch.

Glad to have you Sara. Dan mentioned that $20 for lunch would be "appreciated". After his lunch there is no need to have dinner:)

I know more are shooting at Drakes then this, or just skipping lunch
